From Book, Character Building as QURAN Says

From book CHARACTER BUILDING AS QURAN SAYS by Dr. Zaeema Alvi-Ahmed, Ferozsons (Pvt.) Ltd., 2008:
# 1. Trust in Allah 
And on Allah let believers put (all) their trust. (5:11 Al Ma'idah)
None can command except Allah: on Him do I put my trust: and let all that trust, put their trust on Him. (12:67 Yusuf)
On Allah let all men of faith put their trust. (14:11 Ibrahim)
# 2. Giving Thanks to Allah
Be of those who give thanks. (7:144 Al A'raf)
If ye would count up the favours of Allah, never would ye be able to number them. (16:18 Al Nahl)
If ye are grateful, I will add more (favours) unto you; but if ye show ingratitude, truly My punishment is terrible indeed. (14:7 Ibrahim)
# 3. Human Nature
Man is a creature of haste. (21:37 Al Anbiya')
The prayer that man should make for good, he maketh for evil; for man is given to hasty (deeds). (17:11 Al Isra' (Bani Israil))
Man does not weary of asking for good (things), but if ill touches him, he gives up all hope (and) is lost in despair. (41:49 Fussilat (Ha-Mim))
# 4. Right Conduct and Etiquette
The best of provisions is right conduct. (2:197 Al Baqarah)
When a (courteous) greeting is offered you, meet it with a greeting still more courteous, or (at least) of equal courtesy. (4:86 Al Nisa')
O Ye who believe! when you are told to make room in the assemblies, (spread out and) make room. (58:11 Al Mjuadilah)
# 5. Do not Harm Yourself
Make not your own hands contribute to (your) destruction. (2:195 Al Baqarah)
Nor kill (nor destroy) yourselves. (4:29 Al Nisa')
Eat what Allah hath provided for you, and follow not the footsteps of Satan for he is to you an avowed enemy. (6:142 Al An'am)
