Always pleasing to remember especial ones who profoundly impacted our career. Among many such precious mentors is Engr Waseem Asrar Ahmed. He is among the pioneer of AI in Pakistan. I was his student during my Master of Engineering in Computer Systems at NED University of Engineering & Technology, Karachi. I still remember, he taught us the use of Flex programming language to develop AI applications. During my stay at Heavy Industries Taxila Education City (HITEC) University, I have had a chance to visited him once. A good memory about a very good personality and wonderful teacher.

Hamdard University and Center for International Strategic Studies Singh Conference on Nuclear and Space Technologies for Sustainable Development 2023 held at Bait Al-Hikmah Auditorium, Hamdard University, Karachi Campus. I was one of the speaker in the session with speech title, Sustainable Development. 

Spring 2023 Semester Orientation Session

The orientation session for Spring 2023 semester students (new intake) was held at Hamdard University, Faculty of Engineering Sciences & Technology, Auditorium. After recitation of Holy Quran, National Anthem, and Dua e Said; Prof. Dr. Tariq Javid welcome new students and parents/guardians on behalf of FEST, Hamdard University. He delivered an introduction to the Department of Biomedical Engineering and offered programs. In this semester, admissions offered to all three program: BE Biomedical, BS Food Science & Technology, and BS Biotechnology. 

Hamdard University at ICBAZ-2023 Umerkot

March 07-08, 2023

Hamdard University Faculty of Engineering Sciences & Technology and Faculty of Eastern Medicine participated at the 1ST INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON BIODIVERSITY OF ARID ZONE (ICBAZ-2023), held at Umerkot sub campus of Sindh Agriculture University, Tandojam. HU ORIC and Admin accompany the visit. Dr. Javed Hussain Umrani chair one session of the conference on day 1. Both Prof. Dr. Tariq Javid and Dr. Tabiba Syma Ghyas co-chaired a session on day 2 of the conference. A number of research paper were presented by the faculty members of Hamdard University.
