Treating Athlete's Foot
After web searching, I found information information related to treating athlete's foot. As per WebMed link, it is a fungal infection of the skin on the feet. The following points are important for successful treatment.
- Keep skin of foot clean and dry. Wash with anti-bacterial soap and dry with tissue paper. Dip foot in easily bearable hot water having a very small amount of pinky (potassium permanganate).
- Eat one mashed clove of garlic with water early in morning. I found it very hard to continue.
- Use mashed garlic with equal proportions of olive oil and apple cider vinegar. To apply this paste is very painful experience. Therefore, hard to continue.
- Isoconazole nitrate available as Travogen cream. Used it with no better results.
- Clotrimazole available as Dermosporin cream. This really helped in my case, after few days of application.
- Betamethasone diprpionate available as Effidex cream. This helped to reduce itching.
